Easter is the most important and joyous occasion on the Christian calendar celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day following his crucifixion. Easter cards and eggs are commonly shared amongst friends and family. Ironically the name of the holiday, Easter, is thought to derive from the old English word Eastre which itself comes from the German pagan goddess, Eastre, who was traditionally celebrated at the spring equinox. Unironically, these two things do overlap as the resurrection is a rebirth which fits nicely with the timing of Northern hemisphere spring season. The Easter egg symbology is thus fitting. Regardless of the controversy this may inspire the fact is Easter is celebrated around the world by Christians and has taken on many traditions and significance for non-Christians a like. Why not celebrated yourself and create a personalized Easter Card.

Delivr queries Flickr daily to find images so you can create free Easter Cards from licensed images. When you create an greeting card with Delivr it is actually sent embedded in the email so the recipient doesn't have to visit the site to see it. Most other sites don't do that :) We also attribute the image in the email itself so recipients can go and view the orginal image if they want to.
